• Authors of ISPLC with SMARTGRIDCOMM SESSIONS should also register for SMARTGRIDCOMM, so that the total is higher than a single conference but lower than the two.

IEEE ISPLC 2021 Registration Rates

To enable all excellent science and engineering to be presented we will look to support authors unable to register due to financial barriers where possible. Any request for support should be submitted to the following contacts:

Requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, prioritizing student authors studying at institutions in least-developed, lower and middle-income countries. A limited number of authors will be supported at a discounted rate, not exceeding 50.

Registration includes access to all ISPLC sessions.  If you are registering for both ISPLC and SmartGridComm you are entitled to both conferences.

If you are a student and presenting a paper, we ask you to please register in the FULL registration category.  As per IEEE ComSoc Policy; to be published in the IEEE ISPLC 2021 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the Presenting Author rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference. Non-refundable registration fees MUST be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one registration is valid for up to 3 conference papers. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Each paper must be presented, either via a pre-recorded presentation or a live (in-person) presentation during the conference date. If a pre-recorded presentation or live presentation is not submitted/given by a given deadline, then that paper will be considered a “no-show”. During the conference, at least one author from each paper must be ready to answer any questions from the virtual audience.

A paper not presented will be removed from the final conference proceedings before uploading to IEEE Xplore®.  No refund will be made to the authors of these papers.

Additional Page Fee

Each additional page (over 6) of the final paper submission will incur an additional page fee of $100, this should be paid upon author registration.
